Questions people actually ask

If yours is not here, send it over — we would rather answer it before you book than after.

Do I need a referral to book?

No. You can book any appointment directly, including a first assessment. If you are already under another practice we will ask for your records, but that does not hold up your first visit.

What happens at a first appointment?

A full assessment: digital scan, low-dose imaging, photographs, and a conversation about what you want. You leave with a written plan and costs. Nothing is treated on the day unless you ask for it.

Will it hurt?

Numbing is offered for anything that could be uncomfortable, and we wait until it has genuinely worked before starting. Tell us at any point and we stop — that is not a formality.

How much does treatment cost?

Every plan is costed and agreed before work begins. There are no surprise additions. If a plan changes mid-course we re-cost it and ask you again.

How often should I come in?

Two checkups a year suits most people. If you have active gum disease or a high decay risk we will recommend more frequent recalls and explain why.

Do you see children?

Yes. We are a family practice and see patients of all ages. First visits for young children are deliberately short and hands-off.
